Sharing what’s in our heart and being totally seen and heard is so healing. How often do you listen, just to receive and give space to the other person in stead of thinking about what to say or ask to ‘help’ them? Just being present with the other person and what’s in their heart is enough sometimes.
♡ Heart sharing exercise ♡
I’d love to offer you a bit of embodiment here. Try this exercise with your partner, a family member, friend or a colleague!
✦ Decide who will start. That person will share whatever is on their hearts for 7 minutes (you can set a timer for this). The other person is just receiving with open heart and full attention and doesn’t respond verbally nor non-verbally.
✦ Switch turns. The other person will share for 7 minutes now.
✦ Share your experiences together and feel free to share in the comments as well!
